The 电子游戏软件 神学 Department announces a full-time tenure-track faculty opening in Comparative 神学, with expertise in Christianity and Buddhism, at the rank of assistant professor. Doctoral training in one of these two religions, as well as expert knowledge (including relevant linguistic competence) of the other religion is required. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate core courses on Buddhism in dialogue with Christianity, as well as more specialized undergraduate and graduate courses. Applicants should have a record of scholarship in their field and a commitment to excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
This position is an appointment within the 神学 Department and the successful candidate will participate fully in the academic life of the Department. The faculty member will teach two courses each semester (which by agreement with the Department Chair may include 神学 Core courses, 电子游戏正规平台生研讨会, or undergraduate electives) and advise graduate and undergraduate students. The tenure and promotion process will proceed through the 神学 Department.

Assistant or Associate 教授essor of Systematic 神学

The 电子游戏软件 神学 Department announces a full-time tenure-track faculty opening in Systematic 神学 at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Preferred specializations include spirituality, sacramentality, and embodiment. Applicants conversant with feminist theologies through an intersectional lens are especially encouraged to apply. Doctoral training in Systematic 神学 is required. Responsibilities include teaching two courses each semester: undergraduate core courses in Christian theology, as well as more specialized undergraduate and graduate courses. Applicants should have a record of scholarship in their field and a commitment to excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Assistant 教授essor of the Practice in Christian 神学

The 电子游戏软件 神学 Department announces a full-time faculty opening in Christian 神学 at the rank of Assistant 教授essor of the Practice. This is a full-time non-tenure-track position with a three-year renewable contract. The position’s responsibilities include teaching two sections each year of the year-long undergraduate course “Perspectives on Western Culture,” which studies core and foundational texts in 哲学 and 神学 and which fulfills the undergraduate core requirements of six credits in 神学 and six credits in 哲学. Applicants should have a strong teaching record and a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
This position is an appointment within the 神学 Department and the successful candidate will participate fully in the academic life of the Department. The promotion process will proceed through the 神学 Department.
This appointment will begin in July 2024, with teaching duties beginning mid-August 2024.
